CONTENT MARKETING CHECKLIST – THE ESSENTIALS
Checklist for content marketing essentials

When creating content that is going to be valuable in attracting a defined audience it is important to remember four key areas, all of which WPcult can assist you with. Your content should try and combine all of the following:
- Educate
Educational content conveys knowledge to the user. Insightful videos that answer a question can leave a lasting impression. This includes videos such as ‘how to’ tutorials across a spectrum of areas: how to tie a tie, how to start a business, how to draw, or even how to be a ninja. Educational content satisfies the consumer’s thirst for knowledge or answers a defined question. This will be content worth viewing and sharing with selective audiences.
WPcult can research what people are searching for around your brand and what consumers want to find out. This in turn will drive traffic to your content.
- Inform
Whereas educational content answers people’s questions, informational content can keep people up-to-date with news and events, as opposed to responding to questions they may have. Social media is now the go-to platform for the collection and distribution of this content, as opposed to old media channels. The challenge with this form of content is its time-limited nature with content becoming irrelevant when lacking context.
- Entertain
Telling stories is as old as the human condition itself. Evoking emotion through entertainment is a great trap for viewers. Video is the ideal tool for evoking empathy or extreme emotion, whether this is through humor or sadness. As one statistic claims that video is worth 1.8 million words, this is the optimum medium to showcase the marketing power of entertainment. Humour also works with text-based advertising and memes, but the humor in video-form is likely to achieve more views and shares than anything else.
- Inspire
One often overlooked goal in content strategy is to provide inspiration to viewers and consumers. Inspiring content can be anything that encourages people to try something new, challenge themselves, or push their limits. Showing the achievements of others, those who have overcome adversity or other challenges will often inspire people to do something featured in the video or to buy a product to help them do that. This can be particularly beneficial in charity campaigns.

Google Security at Stake- Android Apps

Android surely is doing great in the app market but still, perfectionism hasn’t been noticed. But the new step observed isn’t surely appreciable in comparison with Google. Android applications haven’t been property verified till now; still, it takes a bigger step to launch an operating system up to malware. Experts bring it into notice as a matter of insecurity.
Researchers are highly influential to the decision. Analysts from Germany’s Leibniz University of Hannover and Philipps University of Marburg have found that Google’s Play Market consists of more than 41 applications that unrevealed sensitive data when it flew smoothly in the handsets supported by Ice-Cream Sandwich. This has also been noticed in the web servers of banks offering online services.
The brawl of the apps doesn’t see an end here, also if you connect this device to a local search network that engages itself in various eminent exploits. Among them, few are available online to putter the relevance to defeat the secure sockets layer and deport these layers as instructed by the apps.
These apps are well-known in the market, and as the stats show- already 39.5 million have been already downloaded and 185 times. So not to wonder many of the Androids are at stake.
The analysis reports say that the payment credentials of PayPal, American Express, and others can also be easily bunched up.
The list of botheration even includes Facebook, email, and cloud storage credentials also lie in the danger arena. Access to IP cameras can easily be amassed also the channels can be controlled for apps and remote servers can be easily capsized.
It has also been noticed that the can of worms also has touched the brittleness of the SSL and TLS protocols, which has altogether provided a platform for virtual encryption between the website and its users.
Technology isn’t un-secure rather its protection can be attenuated when the certificate authors don’t immune to the framework.
The stats even show further numerical data. The analysts have downloaded 13,500 free apps from Google Play to verify the SSL implementation of the apps were influentially vulnerable to “ man-in-the-middle” exploits, as reported.
The outcomes of the research showcased 1,074 apps or eight percent of the sample, as you prefer, that contained SSL-specific code that would either welcome all the certificates or all the hostnames eligible for a certificate and finally they are assailable to MITM mishaps.
One thing that I really feel strange is that the story narrated by the researchers doesn’t consider any comparison with the Apple Apps.
Researchers gave their profound version of the comment “the openness of the Google platform made it easier to perform static analysis and zero in on the apps with SSL implementations that exposed sensitive user data. In other words, it was easier to test which apps were vulnerable using a system they invented. Apple software could also be vulnerable, but it’s harder to come up with an accurate test for it.”
But the main verdict of concern still remains on the same edge; the culpability for the apps is most probably worldwide, pointing to all the Android smartphones. So give it a check, analysts have spoken a lot, now it’s your turn to review.

SEO lowdown and making it work to your advantage.

The Internet offers users a wealth of information on virtually every topic imaginable, all within a few clicks of the keyboard. With such a vast amount of information on any given subject. How can you ensure that your article, photo, ad, or other information gets noticed instead of getting lost in the sea of information? The answer is to make use of Search Engine Optimization or SEO. Read on to learn about SEO and how it can bring visitors to your content, increase your web traffic, and possibly result in a new client, reader, or sale.

* What Is SEO Content?
So, what exactly is SEO content, and how can it work for you? SEO is a strategy used in Internet marketing that makes your particular piece stand out from the others and makes it visible in search engines. So that people who are searching for information can find you. Even if you have a top-notch million-dollar website, What good is it if you have no visitors?
Only when potential readers, clients, or customers can locate your page will you have the opportunity to sell or promote your offer. Search Engine Optimized (SEO) content will work for individuals and businesses alike because it allows you to be discovered. The higher you rank in search engine results, the better potential you have to attract those visitors, wrack up those page views, promote your event, or make those sales.
* Understanding Search Engines and How They Relate to SEO
To understand how SEO content works. It is, first, essential to understand a bit of how a search engine works. First, search engines have bots or spiders, like little workers scouring the web to find new and relevant sites/pages; this is called the crawl. Once crawled by these bots, the information will go through a rigorous set of algorithms that will decide if your site/page is worthy and beneficial to the search engine’s audience. Think of it as somewhat of an old-fashioned card catalog at a library before everything was available on the computer. It’s only much faster and much more accurate.
* Internet Bots and Crawling
What is the bot’s job? First, they scour the net for information, websites, photos, files, videos, etc. Then, the bots will put this gathered information into files (basically called indexing), which are then sorted depending on the search engine’s particular algorithm.
Bots will also check how often a page gets updated and how many linkbacks a page or site has; they will grade the quality of the links that link back and their relevance to your site/page.
* Search Engine Ranking and Retrieval- Where SEO Content Matters
This leads us to the final stage, where information is ranked and sorted in the database to be accessed and organized for rankings. The search engines will draw from this database and give you the highest-ranking results among billions of other pages/sites. This is why SEO matters because SEO helps you get discovered (or, as many say, SEO helps get you ranked at the top of the search engine results).
* Making Your Content Rank Higher In the Search Engine Results
There is no magic bullet that works for all types of content and search engines. However, these essential steps will work 99% of the time.
- Quality on-topic content.
- Clear title and description.
- The right amount of keywords.
- On-topic internal and external links. (Marketing Resources)
- Quality links to your content.
- Regular updates.
- Relevance.
- Proper grammar.
- Clarity and Engaging.
In closing, this subject brings high-quality, relevant content. Update regularly and build links both internal and external, both outgoing and incoming. Make it clear and understandable for both the reader and the Spiders (research). Most sites do better as niche sites. This means staying in your lane and becoming an expert. Experts in any given niche receive love from Google and other search engines, making your SEO work more effortless in the future. (bonus: your competitors will link to you as well when they see you as an expert in your field.)
* Too Much SEO Is Known As Keyword Stuffing
Keywords and phrases are beneficial. However, don’t overuse keywords in your content, as this can backfire on you. When you overuse a keyword or phrase, this will hurt your SEO endeavor, making search engines consider your piece spam. This will keep you from being listed or being poorly ranked in the search engine results. This practice of overcompensating keywords/phrases is called keyword stuffing. It might have worked in the past, but it doesn’t work anymore.
In short, if you feel you have used a word or phrase too much but it is still relevant to your story/article/content, try changing them for similar words/phrases.
* Tips For Using SEO Content
Here are some great tips for using SEO content. First, use your keyword several times throughout the piece without overusing it. Places to include the keyword or phrase include the title, first paragraph, and last paragraph a few times throughout the main body of the page, in sub-headings, and in the meta-title. Second, try to keep your keyword density to a certain percentage, depending on how many words the page has. Typically, a 2% to 3% keyword density is considered a reasonable amount. However, some people may prefer a slightly larger percentage.
* Conclusion
SEO in content helps your page rank higher in the search results so that more people will find your page/offer. Making your content visible requires the proper use of keywords and keyword phrasing placed at strategic points throughout your content.
In the end, the whole reason for taking your valuable time and creating content or posting some offering is to get the word out, to gain an audience, or to find new clients/customers. You need traffic for this, and the way to achieve this is through the correct use of SEO.
